Statistics Pro Tour 2; Charrua hit a record average

Hallgrimur Egilsson won the second Icelandic Pro Tour on Wednesday-evening, but it was Vitor Charrua who was in the spotlight. Read more here.

Vitor Charrua played in the first round against his daughter Filipa Charrua. Vitor was able to win the match easily with 3-0. Vitor managed to win his legs in 18.17 and 14 darts and that meant an average of 92.02. That is the highest recorded average on the Pro Tour! Never before did someone throw higher than the average of Vitor on the Pro Tour! The good game didn’t get ‘The Grenade’ to the quarterfinals, Pétur Gudmundsson was 3-1 too strong.

In addition to the highest average in a match, Charrua also won the highest overall average (77,64), the highest checkout percentage in a game (60%) and the average darts per leg (17,00).

Hallgrimur Egilsson, together with Charrua, managed to throw the best overall checkout percentage (33%).

Most of the 180’s were thrown by Matthías Örn Friðriksson, who threw 2 in his first round match.

The highest finish was thrown by Oli Halldórsson in his semi-final against Gardar Magnusson. It was a beautiful 136-finish!
