Statistics Pro Tour 3; Egilsson, Friðriksson and Charrua dominate

Hallgrimur Egilsson won the third Pro Tour of the season on Tuesday evening. He beat Matthias Örn Friðriksson 4-2 in a good final. The statistics were divided over three players. Read more here.

Egilsson won his second Pro Tour in a row, but also managed to score the highest finish and the highest checkout percentage. In the fourth leg of the final Egilsson managed to check out a 132-finish via single bull- triple 19 -bull! In the final, the Icelandic also recorded his best checkout percentage of the day; 44%!

Friðriksson was defeated in the final, but could look back on the tournament with his head up. He scored the highest average in a match during the tournament; 77,90 in the first round. Few 180’s were thrown, Friðriksson was the only player to throw one. Friðriksson also managed to throw the best leg of the tournament, a 15-darter!

Charrua lost in the quarterfinals against Pétur Gudmundsson and now stands 12 points behind Egilsson in the overall order of merit. Charrua did manage to throw the highest tournament average despite only playing 2 games. He came out on an average of 73,32. Also, the doubles of the Portuguese born were very good over the entire tournament; 38%. Finally, the average darts per leg of ‘The Grenade’ was the best of the tournament; 19,20.
